Right now you can call without paying through the whatsapp to your friends, family and love ones. Recently, whatsapp has launched a desktop application for Windows and Mac which enables us to use whatsapp directly on our Windows or Mac. You can now install whatsapp on any windows PC or Mac. It means, whatsapp can now be used right from your desktop without a browser. Now, let's get started on how to install the application.
1. Click here to go to whatsapp official website to download the application. Choose your platform either to download it for Windows or Mac. In this tutorial, i will be downloading it for windows as shown below.
2. Now locate the downloaded folder and open or run the setup file.
3.Open or launch whatsapp on your phone, click Menu and select whatsapp Web. Now scan the QR code on the screen with your phone.
4. Once the QR code is recognised, your desktop application will be linked with your account and you will be automatically logged in. You can now enjoy WhatsApp on your PC or Mac.
